Photos of the car were taken and chassis number was noted down, all done in the background while I was speaking with Douglas. This gave me assurance that the team at Kee Yong knew exactly what they were doing with my vehicle. Something that I particularly appreciated (and I believe many others would too) was the proactive communication. Right after leaving the workshop, Douglas sent me a WhatsApp message with a photo of my vehicle and detailed the necessary work (Service B+ in my case). Alongside that, I received a thorough quote that broke down the costs for each item, eliminating any guesswork. No need to worry about getting chop carrot last minute or dealing with unhappy / paggro workshop owners when asking for quotes. Moreover, Douglas informed me over an hour in advance when my car was about to be ready, which I found very considerate. When I arrived, he took the time to clearly explain the work that had been completed and discussed any issues they discovered. It is unlike some workshops which will simply remark in a sentence or 2 about the issue without giving more details or educating about the potential problems that may arise. What impressed me most was the way they handled potential repairs; there were no scare tactics or hard selling. Instead, I received genuine advice on how to monitor / deal with the issues, along with reference quotes for potential repairs if I was interested to have it done there. The condition of my car upon collection was great — better than it had been after servicing when compared to the authorized dealer or other workshops. There was no doubt that actual work had been performed, unlike some where you leave feeling uncertain about whether actual work was done proper (IYKYK). Driving the car after service, I am pleased with how smooth it feels on the road. The servicing price was fair, especially considering the high level of service and the thorough work done. As I have an active remote monitoring service for my car, I could infer from the car's notifications (doors lock-unlock / bonnet open-close / etc.) that the team was working on my car for almost the entire duration in the workshop. This is much appreciated, especially after experiencing repair works elsewhere which claimed to require multiple days of downtime but they only worked on the car for a short time on the last day. Overall, I can recommend Kee Yong Auto. Their professionalism, transparency, and commitment to customer satisfaction is commendable.
